Frequently asked questions

what should i Wear?

Your physiotherapist will need to do a thorough assessment of the body part to be treated. For any lower back, hip or lower limb injuries, shorts are advised. For any injuries to the upper back, neck, shoulder or upper limb a singlet is advised. If need be, the practice has shorts available for your convenience.

If you are attending Pilates, wear something you can move and stretch comfortably in.

do you have HICAPS available?

Yes the practice is equipped with a HICAPS terminal, meaning you can claim using your private health fund on the spot. How much is covered is dependent on your insurer and level of cover. For further information regarding how much you are covered for, it is best to contact your private insurer.

How long are the sessions?

This is dependent on the injury, but as an estimate you should allow at least one hour for an initial assessment and about 45 min for follow up sessions. If you are on a tight schedule, please let your physiotherapist know at the start of your session and we will do our best to accommodate.

No you do not need a referral to receive physiotherapy.

  • DVA patients
  • Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) patients
